Publisher SOEDESCO dropped the official gameplay trailer for Airoheart that also reveals the game’s release date. The upcoming RPG by developer Pixel Heart Studio will arrive on PC and consoles on September 30th, 2022. Players are welcome to wishlist the title before it arrives three months from now. Be sure to take a peek at the gameplay footage in the provided video below.
Stop Your Brother from Unleashing Evil in Airoheart
Airoheart takes direct inspiration from the nostalgic Legend of Zelda titles, where adventure is the name of the game. Players will assume the role of the titular Airoheart, a denizen in the land of Engard. Our story begins with a great impending evil that dares threaten the good of his people. He steps up to the challenge of eliminating this particular evil, but it isn’t fairly straightforward for the pixelated hero. His brother is behind the madness, thus adding more tension to the growing danger in Engard.
For the uninformed crowd, Airoheart is a retro pixelated adventure game. The gameplay abides by a top-down perspective that reminds us of the classic RPGs back in the day. It comes with memorable characters, real-time action, puzzles, and dungeons for players to indulge in, all of the essential ingredients for a role-playing experience. All of this is wonderfully on display with the fresh gameplay trailer for Airoheart and its anticipated release.
Airoheart is also the tale of a successful Kickstarter campaign where Pixel Heart Studio was able to gather attention for their game. Since then, the game has been in development, with publishing rights being acquired by SOEDESCO just earlier this year. Players can purchase Airoheart this September 30th, 2022, when it arrives on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
We’ve talked about Airoheart a couple of times before, so we’re definitely looking forward to seeing the final product. If you’ve been up to date with Pixel Heart Studio and their game, let us know by sharing a comment. We’d love to hear from you!
